EUREGHA – Bringing Regional and Local Health Authorities Together: A Hub for Interregional Health Cooperation in Europe

Throughout the day, the EUREGHA stand will serve as a meeting point for regional and local health authorities, European institutions, health stakeholders and project partners interested in strengthening interregional cooperation on health across Europe.
As the reference network for regional and local health authorities in Europe, EUREGHA promotes the exchange of knowledge, experience and good practices in health policy and implementation. The stand will provide an opportunity to learn more about the network’s activities, meet representatives of the EUREGHA Secretariat and discuss opportunities for cooperation with regions and health stakeholders from across Europe.
Visitors will be able to discover EUREGHA’s work in areas including:
- cancer prevention, care and implementation of the EU Mission on Cancer;
- digital transformation and innovation in health systems;
- cross-border healthcare and cooperation in European border regions;
- mental health and regional approaches to reducing inequalities;
- health workforce development and regional skills ecosystems; and
- EUREGHA’s participation in European projects and policy initiatives.
The stand will also showcase the activities of EUREGHA’s thematic Working Groups, examples and experiences from its members, and its contribution as Secretariat of the Interregional Group on Health and Well-being of the European Committee of the Regions, developed in close cooperation with the CoR NAT Commission.
Visitors will additionally be able to learn more about the work of the Harnessing Talent Platform’s Working Group on Health, which brings together regions and stakeholders to address health workforce challenges and strengthen skills, innovation and talent development in European territories.
Under the 2026 theme “Strong regions, strong Europe,” EUREGHA aims to make its stand a hub for interregional health cooperation: a space to exchange ideas, identify common challenges and build new connections between regional authorities, European institutions, projects and health organisations.
