“Shaping the Next EU Long-term Budget for Health and Regions”

This meeting builds on the momentum generated during the last EUREGHA session at the European Week of Regions and Cities and takes place in light of the CoR’s Opinion on the MFF post-2027, which is currently under discussion. In this context, the session aims to explore the implications for regions of the European Commission’s proposal for the next Multi-annual Financial Framework (MFF), and to foster a meaningful exchange on priorities, opportunities, and challenges for regional authorities across Europe in the health domain. The meeting will connect ideas and perspectives across sectors where regions play a leading role, discuss the impact of the next MFF on key policy areas including health, cohesion, and innovation, and support the development of a shared understanding that ensures regional voices are central in the formulation, management, and implementation of the future EU long-term budget.
