EUREGHA is pleased to invite you to its session organised in the framework of the European Week of Regions and Cities 2023:

“Boost skills, embrace transformation: regions for green and digital skilling in healthcare”

 11 October 2023, 14:30-15:30

European Committee of the Regions, Brussels

European health and care systems have increasingly been transitioning towards greener, more digital solutions. Skills are key factors in supporting this transformation, empowering the healthcare workforce and creating more sustainable ecosystems. The session will explore the role of regions in spearheading green and digital up- and re-skilling, as part of a strategic blueprint for sectoral cooperation across Europe and within the EU Pact for Skills and the Year of Skills.

Speakers:

  • George Valiotis, Executive Director at the European Health Management Association, Coordinator of the BeWell project
  • Henriette Hansen, EU Consultant & Project Manager, South Denmark EU Office
  • Birgitta Sacrédeus, Chair of the Interregional Group on Health and Wellbeing, Committee of the Regions

Moderator: Giovanni Gorgoni, Chair, European Regional and Local Health Authorities.

The session will be followed by a networking moment where speakers and participants will have the opportunity to further exchange and connect.

Save your spot by registering here:

Registrations are open until 30 September 2023 and until seats are exhausted. The European Committee of the Regions is the only responsible for the collection of registrations and will allocate seats on a “first-come first-served” basis.

Please note: To register successfully, attendees will be asked first to log in via their own EU Login/ECAS account, or create a EU Login/ECAS account if they do not have it. Once logged in, attendees can register for the workshop by clicking on the button “Register”.

Please note 2: Registrations closed on 30 September 2023, and it is no longer possible to register for the session. However, there are still some seats available. If you are interested in the session and miss the deadline, it is still possible to obtain a #EURegionsWeek badge by registering directly onsite (at the CoR premises and at SQUARE) for the whole Week. This registration counts as registration for the whole Week and not for our specific session. Hence, due to room capacity, people who have already reserved a spot before 30 September will have priority over no-registered participants, who will be allowed to join if there are any seats left.
The European Committee of the Regions is the only responsible for the collection of registrations and granting access to sessions.

The EUREGHA Secretariat remains at your disposal for any questions or support with the registration process. For any queries, you can contact marco.didonato@euregha.net.

Looking forward to meeting you at the European Committee of the Regions!
