The European Commission has recently published a consultation paper focusing on the EU action to reduce health inequalities. The consultation will pave the way for a Commission Communication aiming to support the reduction of health inequalities in the EU. With the intent of stressing “health” as a necessary pre-condition of territorial cohesion, EUREGHA drafted a response to put forward the perspective of regional and local authorities on this sensitive matter.
