The fourth public meeting of the CoR Interregional Group on Health & Well-Being in 2024 will address the pressing issue of Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR). The event will highlight the challenges posed by AMR, discuss new frameworks and updates, and emphasize the crucial role regional and local authorities play in combating this global health threat. The meeting aims to foster collaboration and explore strategies to strengthen local action against AMR, ensuring a coordinated response to protect public health, also in light of the recent 2024 United Nations Political Declaration and 2023 Council Recommendation on stepping up EU Actions on combating AMR.
