On 5th December, EUREGHA, the reference network for European Regional and Local Health Authorities, held its Annual Conference at the Northern Ireland Executive Office in Brussels. Under the theme “Driving implementation forward – Regional and local health authorities as key partners in the new European mandate”, the event reaffirmed its status as a flagship gathering for the network, drawing 80+ registered participants from across Europe, including representatives of regional authorities, EU institutions and key stakeholders in health policy and research fields. The conference featured high-level speakers and provided a unique platform for multi-level dialogue on the future of EU health policy and the role of regions, particularly in light of the new EU mandate 2024-2029.
