The meeting will explore how regional and local authorities can bring schools\, cultural organisations\, community groups and health services together to promote mental health\, strengthen social connections and support inclusion. \nChaired by Birgitta Sacrédeus\, Member of the European Committee of the Regions and Chair of the Interregional Group on Health and Well-being\, the meeting will build on the Advancing Equitable Mental Health Across Europe policy debate at the 2026 European Week of Regions and Cities. \nThe draft programme includes an example from the Banská Bystrica Region on how professionals from different sectors can work together to prevent bullying and support young people’s mental health.
