DESCRIPTION:As the Secretariat of the CoR’s IRGHW\, EUREGHA is pleased to invite you to the next and last 2023 meeting of the European Committee of the Regions’ Interregional Group on Health and Well-being \n“The sustainability and greening of the EU healthcare systems”\n30th November 2023\, 13:30-14:30 \nEuropean Committee of the Regions (Brussels)\nReducing the environmental impact of the health sector has come to the heart of the discussion on the future of healthcare in Europe. Regional and local health authorities have a key role to play in the green transformative process. Their proximity to the healthcare facilities and providers enables them to have a deep understanding of the local needs and environmental challenges\, placing themselves in a crucial position to make a direct impact on the health of citizens while preserving our planet.
