DESCRIPTION:As the Secretariat of the CoR’s IRGHW\, EUREGHA is pleased to invite you to the next and last 2023 meeting of the European Committee of the Regions’ Interregional Group on Health and Well-being \n“Addressing medicines shortages in the EU”\n18th April 2024\, 13:30-14:30 \nEuropean Committee of the Regions (Brussels)\nThe first public meeting of the European CoR Interregional Group on Health & Well-Being of 2024 will be dedicated to discussing the recent European CoR Opinion on “Addressing medicine shortages”\, which has been object of expert consultation and discussion in the framework of the CoR Commission for Natural Resources. The opinion key points will be presented by the Rapporteur Erika Von Kalben and commented by key stakeholders\, CoR members and other regional experts\, which will enrich the debate bringing their own practices and point of views to further elaborate and debate on this crucial topic. \nSpeakers include:\n\nErika Von Kalben\, Vice-President of the State Parliament of Schleswig-Holstein\, CoR Member and Rapporteur of the CoR’s Opinion on “Addressing medicines shortages”\nGloria Ghéquière\, Advisor at the Cabinet of the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Social Affairs and Public Health\, Belgium\nYlva Reisnert\, Senior EU policy advisor\, Region Skåne Brussels OfficE\n\nLooking forward to welcoming you to the Committee of the Regions! \n \nPlease note: Given the limited number of seats\, priority will be given to the presence of CoR members\, and eventual available spots will be allocated by the Secretariat on a first-come first-served basis.
