On Friday 15th March, Mr. Wolfgang Buercherl from DG SANCO gave an informative presentation to EUREGHA members on ‘Investing in Health‘, the Staff Working document of the Social Investment Package, which has been recently published. The presentation highlighted key messages of the document, and how health is a value in itself and growth enhancing. It also expanded on the need to invest in health systems, citizens’ health and reducing inequalities. Members were free to ask questions, which developed into interesting discussions about the document, and what it really means to them.
