How to join us
( 1 items )
As a result of the commitment of the EUREGHA co-founders in promoting the network, EUREGHA has become a privileged interlocutor for the EU institutions and other stakeholders. Interested in outweighing the regional voice at different entry levels of the EU policy-making, EUREGHA members benefit from the exposure on the European and international scenes.
It is undeniable that today regions and Local Authorities are in a better position compared to few years ago where only Member States were considered as representative of their citizens.
The challenge is therefore to demonstrate that Regions and Local Authorities can work closely together and maximise the benefits by learning from each other.
United we can outweigh the voice of regions and sway the policy-making process. It is time to overcome biased positions and interact with the EU institutions at one voice.
It is in this perspective that we welcome new members that are willing to join EUREGHA and collaborate to bring their own "adding value" in the network in return of all the advantages that the membership gives.
In concrete, what are the advantaged of joining a pan-European organisation such as EUREGHA?
If you are a local or regional authority, there are a number of reasons for getting involved in a network that represents, in an inclusive way, Regions in Europe. There are opportunities of working internally within the network and externally with the EU institutions and other stakeholders.
PROs to work with other regions
The intrinsic advantage of working together with other regions is the opportunity to get to know the functioning and competences of other regions in Europe from which build upon future partnerships.

- promote your regional good practice to EUREGHA Annual Conferences and publications
- contribute to EUREGHA Consultative Group Meetings and EUREGHA Conferences
- Access to the ‘Members area’ (under construction) of the website
PROs to work at the EU level
