CoR Interregional Group on Health and Well-being
The European Committee of the Regions Interregional Groups are platforms to exchange views and create new ideas among local and regional authorities in the Member States and beyond on a variety of issues.
The Interregional Group on Health and Well-being was set up in 2010 to enable all members and alternate members of the CoR, not just the members of the Commission for Natural Resources (NAT) to debate openly and share viewpoints on EU policy issues related to healthcare and public health. The interregional group also seeks to enhance the dialogue with other EU institutions without impinging upon the remit of the NAT Commission itself.
As Secretariat of the group, EUREGHA organises its meetings five times per year.
If you would like to know more about the activities carried out by the group, you may contact the EUREGHA Secretariat at valentina.polylas@euregha.net or marco.didonato@euregha.net or Ms Birgitta Sacrédeus, Chair of the Group, at birgitta.sacredeus@ltdalarna.se
The Chair of the Group
“Serving as an elected representative in the health field for more than 25 years, I find that sharing experiences from the municipal, regional, national and European level gives a new dimension and important inputs. Chairing the Interregional Group on Health and Well-being of the European Committee of the Regions means spreading knowledge and getting inspiration for future work.”
Birgitta Sacrédeus, European People’s Party (EPP)
